The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, is the same God we worship today. His determination to deliver and save His people, is the same today as it was in the time of Moses. We are His children, His people and He is our God. When we call upon His name, He hears us. Freedom is important, but real freedom is found only in worshipping Him. God could have destroyed Pharaoh and deliver His people at once, but He chose to provide an opportunity to Pharaoh and the Egyptians, to know the true God and to follow Him. He also chose not to destroy Satan, the enemy of His people, the one who seeks to enslave and deceive God’s people, but God is fighting for our permanent deliverance, Jesus will soon come to take us home, in the meantime, rejoice, God is on our side. The battle belongs to the LORD!
