Mt Gravatt Seventh-day Adventist Church is excited to announce the opening of a community food pantry.

Who is it For?

Food parcels will be available for those who are struggling financially due to job loss, the impact of Covid-19, and strained household budgets. 

When is it Open?

Fortnightly on a Saturday evening from 6pm - 8pm, beginning on November 14th 2020.

What is on offer?

Each parcel will contain a variety of long-life foods and basic cleaning products. While the value of each parcel will be around $90, they will be selling for only $20. You can expect the parcel to generally contain rice, pasta, fruit, vegetables, milk, pre-packed meal, bread, canned food, sweets, drinks, juice, cereal, and much more.

How do I pay?

At this stage Payment is by cash only.

Soup & Buns!

Soup and buns will be available for free for all who come along.  You’re welcome to stay and chat.

A Covid-safe Plan will be in place. Names, addresses, and phone numbers will collected and securely stored for 56 days as per government guidelines and not used for any other purposes.

Can I help?

We’re always looking for volunteers to help pickup the food, pack the parcels, sell the parcels, and serve the soup and buns.  If you’d like to be involved, click here.
