The very first miracle which took place at the wedding ceremony at Cana was carefully chosen by Jesus to signify who He was, what He came to do and what He offers us. The water which turned into wine averted huge disaster, and in turn brought party joy and celebration to those present at the wedding, became microcosm of larger gospel story.
